Hi everyone, my name is Emerson and I am Ashleigh's younger sister.

This past Monday, my sister underwent surgery. Unfortunately, there was a life changing and threatening issue after she went home. Thursday night, my sisters heart stopped. My mother, Donna, saved my sisters life and was rushed the ER. From there on, my sister has been in medical induced coma, on a ventilator, and has undergo multiple surgeries.

While there is so much to explain, it is very hard for our entire family to go into detail about this entire situation. It is traumatic, devastating, but we have hope and prayers and ask you all to continue to pray for my sister.

My sister is a mommy of 2 beautiful girls, Bella and Charlie. My nieces need their mommy to come home. My sister is a FIGHTER. My sister is the best person I know and we need to her to continue to get better and be the best she can ever be. This is going to be a very long journey, but together, we pray every second and ask for our girl to make it home.
