If you know Brandie, you know that she is one of the most kind, thoughtful, and generous people you will meet. She always puts other before herself and is the person people can count on to help them. Now, it is time for us to give back to Brandie.
Brandie has been struggling for years with autoimmune disease(s). In late 2022, she was diagnosed with rapidly progressing Scleroderma which is a rare, chronic, debilitating, and incurable autoimmune disease that affects almost every organ system in the body.
Sadly, after working all of 2023 to stabilize her scleroderma and slow its progression, even considering a stem cell transplant to cure her scleroderma, this year Brandie was diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic breast cancer. By the time the cancer was found in February, it had already spread to her lymph nodes and liver. This is a diagnosis with no cure, with the only treatment options being maintaining her quality of life, trying to stop the progression, and palliative care.
We hope that new medicines will give her added months and hopefully years to watch her three teenage children graduate and go to college.
In the meantime, we would like to generate and gather support for Brandie and her family to use as they choose, for medical needs, medical bills, travel to make memories, for her bucket list, or anything else that can provide her comfort and joy during this time.
Please consider donating and also sharing this go fund me page, so we can support Brandie and her family.
If you would like to provide a meal to Brandie and her family, I have set up a meal train page for her: https://mealtrain.com/y8yqye
