Keep Connie's Smile

Hello everyone

As friends of Connie, we have created this fundraiser to show support and love at a very difficult time.

All funds raised via this Gofundme will be given to Connie to support her at this difficult time.

A little back story, Connie who many people all know as the beautiful smiley face behind the bar in the Blue Bell pub in Maxey Peterborough, turned 19 in March this year. Shortly after celebrating her birthday, she discovered a lump in her neck. After several hospital visits, scans, and tests at different hospitals, blood tests, a failed biopsy, then finally a successful one she received the world-shattering diagnosis of Hodgkin Lymphoma, a rare cancer that develops in the lymphatic system.

This news understandably shook Connie’s (and all who love her) world. With the realisation that she would have to undergo several rounds of intense chemotherapy and the likely possibility of losing her beautiful hair.

Connie has the most incredible support team around her. Family and friends who will be with her every step of the way. We want to support her in every way we can, and we know you will too.

We want to make sure that while she does everything she can to fight this dreadful disease we will do all we can to make sure she has nothing to worry about and that is why we are asking for your help.

Connie would love to be able to purchase a hairpiece, but we would like to go further than this. We want Connie to know that she will not have to worry about a thing throughout her journey, where she will be financially limited. We want Connie to know that the last thing she needs to worry about is money and that when she is well enough, she will be able to book a break away (having had to cancel her holiday due to her diagnosis).

Connie is a 19-year-old remarkably strong-willed soul and will fight this head-on.
