Liver Damage from Medical Error

What was supposed to be a regular acl/mcl surgery has turned into a referral to be evaluated for a liver transplant.
On March 26, 2018, Aj had a routine act/mcl knee repair. During the surgery Aj was given Sevofluerane which caused an allergic reaction resulting in acute liver damage. When his symptoms persisted he was then given Lyrica which sent his health into a downward spiral leaving him hospitalized for a week.
Aj has not been able to work to support his family of 4 since March 26, 2018. And the family was recently advised that he was being referred to another hospital to be evaluated for a liver transplant. What was supposed to be a week off of work has turned into over two months with out being able to work and the journey isn't even close to being over. This family has been left with an unexpected financial burden that his wife has tried to handle on her own. Our hope is to raise money to help this family so that his wife can rest knowing that their home is taken care of and she can focus on being a support to her husband's needs right now.
We are in contact with the family regularly to assist with lifting them up through this very hard time.
