Hi my name is Karl. I am a married father of 3 children and in July this year I was given 12 to 18 months to live. I am a true Yorkshire dad and have lived in South Yorkshire all my life. I have three amazing kids aged 19 to 9 and want to leave them something so that when I die they don't have a financial worry as well as all the other problems that come with losing a dad.

I started with. Cancer at the age of 18 and have battled it numerous times over the last 20 odd years. My treatment has ranged from surgery to radiotherapy and immunotherapy. Every time giving us hope of a cure and remission. Unfortunately this time it's has spread to the pancreas and there is no treatment available. Having had cancer from 18 I have never been able to get life insurance or critical illness so throughout the years I have always had to work and balance money. Sometimes it has been really tough and as for any family the current climate is hard for most families.

I am a Christian and have always done my best to help those around me. I don't want to beg for money but feel this platform could really help our situation . Looking at my youngest daughter and thinking about her not growing up with a dad is heartbreaking plus the stress of not knowing if they will be ok financially is becoming too much.
