We found Sadie left on the shoulder of the interstate last night as everyone else sped by, unable to move, clearly hit by a car.  Scared, she was sweet and cooperative as we loaded her into the car and rushed her to the emergency vet.  Her owners were called but they surrendered her, unwilling to pay for her care.  She desperately needs surgery to fix a shattered bone in her leg.  The vet says the leg can be as good as new, no need to amputate, but it is a complex surgery requiring internal and external hardware to mend properly, with a lot of attention needed to her aftercare.  The vets have all discounted their fees to help this poor girl.  Please help us help Sadie start a healthy new life on all four feet.  We need your help as soon as possible so she can get the operation and the care she needs.  Thank you for anything you can do to help!!
