Hello, my name is Abdullah, and I’m from Gaza, Palestine — a place that has endured unimaginable suffering due to the ongoing conflict.

I am one of the many people who have been deeply affected by the war. The devastation has touched every part of my life: my self, my home, my education, and my future.

Myself:

Before the war, I was an active and optimistic young man, full of hope and dreams. But the war changed everything. The horror, starvation, fear, and destruction around me shattered my spirit. I now live in an atmosphere of despair and trauma.

My Home:

Home, uh home, what can I say, our home was everything to us. It was beautiful, with two floors and five rooms.

We had two houses — one is now completely destroyed, the other is partly damaged.

My own room was my sanctuary. I used it to study and work on programming, but now it lies in ruins. My father spent his life building that house, and it is heartbreaking to see it turned to rubble.

My Education:

I was a top student in university, studying Computer Science.

I had graduated high school with a 95.4 average and was in my final year at university before the war destroyed everything. I can no longer attend school or graduate. My dream of continuing on to a master’s degree feels so far away now.

My Future:

Before the war, I was working remotely as a programmer while studying. I had even received an acceptance from a software company. But the war destroyed my work, my education, and my chances for a better future.

I still dream of completing my studies, working in the tech field, and one day starting my own company. But to do that, I must leave Gaza. The cost of escaping the siege is very high, and I cannot do it alone.

I’m asking for your support — to help me raise enough funds to travel out of Gaza, continue my education, rebuild my life, and help my father restore our home.
