Hi, my name is Heather and I’m creating this fundraiser for my little brother, Shane.

Our family has been through more heartbreak than we ever could have imagined. In 2023, our family faced a devastating loss when Shane’s mom, passed away after a courageous battle with breast cancer. Roughly a year later, we unexpectedly lost our dad - Shane’s bonus dad- as well. This year, our worst fears were realized again when Shane was diagnosed with cancer. He recently underwent surgery to remove the tumor and is now in the first week of an intensive 12-week chemotherapy treatment.

Shane is one of the kindest, strongest people I know. He’s the kind of uncle every kid dreams of—funny, caring, and always there when you need him. His nieces and nephew absolutely adore their Uncle Shane, and I do too. He’s always been the one to lift others up, and now, he needs our help more than ever.

Because of his diagnosis and treatment, Shane is currently unable to work. The financial burden of rent, food, and medical bills is growing every day. We’re doing everything we can as a family, but we can’t do it alone.
