I was diagnosed with breast cancer March 3, 2015. I choose to go to the Mayo Clinic Breast Cancer Center in Rochester, MN. My cancer is being treated as a triple negative as far as receptors (estrogen, progesterone and HER2) are concerned. We have been to many visits and had several tests done. The best news is, I have no other cancer in other parts of my body!!! I have been accepted to be a part of the clinical study being offered for patients with this kind of cancer. The Drs. tell me this is the best route for my treatment. I am also participating in a few other studies.
I started chemotherapy on Tuesday, April 7th.
