The volunteers at Canadian Welfare Public School are excited to announce the launch of our 2024 Ramadan Campaign.

We want to thank each and everyone of you who donated to our 2023 Ramadan Campaign. Together, we raised close to $15,000 alhumdulilah. Here is a list of how your donations were used over the last year:

For those new to our initiative, here is a back story of how it all started.

In 2006, we strived to make a difference in the remote village of Khura, Pakistan. We saw the need for a school for children from poor families and made it our goal to provide quality education and a new beginning for all those children.

That is when Canadian Welfare Public School was created. A school dedicated to providing free education while creating a safe and nurturing environment where children can learn and grow.

But we cannot do this alone. We rely on the generosity of people like you to support our mission and make a difference in the lives of these children. Your donation can help provide essential resources such as textbooks, school supplies, and uniforms, as well as funding for teacher salaries and infrastructure improvements.

The Quran says, “and whatever you spend, He will replace it; and He is the best of the providers” (Ch 34:39)

The Prophet, peace be upon him, said: “The believer’s shade on the Day of Resurrection will be his charity.” (Al-Tirmidhi)

So we ask you to join us in our mission to provide education to those who need it most. Together, we can make a difference and help create a brighter future for these children. Thank you for considering a donation and for being a part of this important work.
