Ever since my mom died in 2023, I have been struggling in every way possible. I'm a single mom with no family living in Florida. When my mom became ill in 2022, I became her full-time caretaker and lost my job. Due to a big gap in my resume, finding a job has been nearly impossible. I have been doing everything I can to get caught up on bills, but DoorDash has been my only income. On top of my normal monthly bills, I am also paying for a lawyer to leave Florida and be closer to people who will support me.
