On Saturday, July 31, 2021 Ricky was climbing a ladder at his home in Mount Sterling, Ky when the ladder slipped and he fell roughly 2 stories. He is currently in the ICU at UK hospital. His injuries to date include several head fractures, the bones in his ear are broken, broken ribs, broken foot, fluid/blood around his brain, fluid/blood in his lungs and his spleen had to be removed from the injuries occurred. He has been on a breathing tube which they have since switched to a trach along with double chest tubes that is allowing the fluid/blood to drain from his lungs. At this time we do not know how mild or severe his brain injuries are. That will determine the length of his stay at the hospital and how long his recovery will take.

We are trying to raise enough money to pay their main bills over the next few months as we know this is going to be a long road to recovery. Rick and Robin have custody of two of their granddaughters so we are trying to make sure they can keep their home during this difficult time. The goal amount will cover their Mortgage, utilities, gas for Robin to go back and forth from the hospital and hopefully a little food while she is there.

We appreciate everyone’s prayers during this time and appreciate the smallest amount that you are able to spare. We will have a separate account set up at Traditional bank for the donations so their bills can come straight from there.
