On November 18th, 2025 I was diagnosed with Breast cancer. Back up to August, I felt a lumpin my upper chest, but put it on the back burner because my family had other illnesses that we were just learning about.

On Halloween I scheduled my appointment with my GP, she wasn't to concerned but since I was 40, I needed to schedule a mammogram.

I couldn't believe it, my very first mammogram saw something...after a few more different angles, I had the breast ultrasound then the Dr. came in and said we have a team willing to stick around and grab a few biopsies in your right breast..we will do your left side at a different time. The next day I got my results, I have 2 masses that ARE cancerous. I have met everyone on my care team, the breast surgeon, a medical oncologist, and the radiologist.

I have a MRI on the 9th and surgery on the 18th.

January 5th will start my radiation.
