Ted is the friendliest, most social, and snuggly furry friend that anyone could hope to meet. He’s full of life, and loves to say hi to every animal and every human we see on walks. Ted was born with a misshaped (deformed) bone which was brought to his vet’s attention. We were told it shouldn’t be an issue just as long as nothing out of the ordinary were to happen. Unfortunately, Ted wound up in a terrible accident mid December 2021 that affected his already vulnerable limb. Insurance would not cover, nor contribute to the cost of, what needed to be done for Ted. For our sweet, 6-month old boy to maintain the best quality of life possible, we had no choice but to have the bones repaired by an orthopedic surgeon of veterinary medicine. Ted’s now had the procedure done, but his journey to recovery and his old life (or the closest to it) is far ahead. We have a large surgical bill to take care of, post-op appointments, pain management treatments and physical therapy to sort out in order to give Ted the life he deserves.
