Save The School

My name is Samantha. I am a mom who is seeking help to save my sons taekwondo academy. My son has a severe case of ADHD and these classes help him immensely with his attention and self control. We are at risk of losing this wonderful place that my son loves so much.
Let me tell you a little bit about them . 

Top Taekwondo Academy in Vernon CT. has been a key part of the kids lives for the last year. Master Jung not only teaches the children the art of Taekwondo by he also teaches them and reinforces Respect, Honesty, Perseverance, Self-Control, and Humility. The kids love the academy and all they offer. They have made great friendships here. 

Top taekwondo is a very small business. Due to the pandemic and all the new regulations Master Jung had to shut down the studio temporarily. During this time he was not charging the parents therefore he had no income. He began to hold classes via zoom video conferences, but he was already behind and without the ability to gain new business he was struggling to stay afloat. He poured all of his funds into keeping the studio open as long as he could, but with no clear end in sight he could no longer support himself and the business. Master Jung was forced to close his doors.

The kids were heart broken. Knowing they would no longer get to come to class  and see their Master, their friends, and their belt journey would now come to an end was especially hard during this already trying time. Class was really the only thing the kids had to look forward to.

Since closing Master Jung was able to work with the landlord of the studio who is going to give him more time to come up with the owed rent. We are looking to help him in every way possible to raise some funds to pay the back owed  rent on the studio and keep the classes in session for the kids.  Please consider donating to help us save the academy and keep these kids on their personal journeys.
