Help with medical bills
Donation protected
My brother Steve has been hospitalized since the 17th of this month and was intubated on the 28th. This has already been a very hard and long road and they are now considering putting him on ECMO. ECMO would allow a bi-pass of his heart and lungs to allow them to heal. Currently with being on the ventilator at such high settings he is at risk of trauma to his lungs from the high pressures. If this happens he will require a second airlift to another hospital that has ECMO capabilities. Even with insurance the medical bills and helicopter rides are going to be costly. With all this his wife is trying to do everything and stay strong for their kids. He has a 15 yo daughter, 11 yo daughter, 8 yo son and a 3yo son. With Steve being hospitalized they have incurred more childcare costs. She has been trying to do everything for her boys to keeps things as normal as possible but it’s all mentally and physically exhausting. If everything went perfect Steve will likely be hospitalized another month. But very likely longer. He will also likely be out of work for quite sometime after getting out. Covid has turned this families life upside down. They have already spent thanksgiving without Steve home and now Christmas is quickly approaching. It would be wonderful if we could all show her and Steve we are here to support them in anyway possible! Please continue to pray for Steve and his family. Let’s see if we can help this Mama and Steve out with some with some of the additional medical costs they have incurred.
***All donations will go directly to the medical costs he has and will continue to incur. Thank you for all your continued support and prays please keep them coming!
