AYUDEMOS A LUCIANA A SEGUIR LUCHANDO

Hola, somos Sebastian y Karina los papás orgullosos de Luciana.

Nuestra pequeña tiene apenas un año y tres meses, pero ya ha demostrado una fortaleza que nos conmueve y nos inspira. Luciana nació prematuramente a las 30 semanas de gestación y pasó sus primeros 55 días en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos Neonatales. En sus primeros 4 meses de vida enfrentó tres cirugías. Cada día fue una lucha por su vida, y ella nunca se rindió.

A los 6 meses recibimos un diagnóstico que cambió nuestras vidas: parálisis cerebral (PCI) y microcefalia. Esta condición afecta su lado motor, su estabilidad y otras funciones esenciales de su cuerpo. A pesar de todo, Luciana es una niña alegre, con una sonrisa que ilumina nuestras vidas. Su valentía y energía nos dan fuerza para seguir luchando cada día y mantener viva nuestra fe en Dios.

Somos padres jóvenes, llenos de amor, fe y esperanza. Haremos todo lo que esté en nuestras manos para darle a Luciana la oportunidad de desarrollarse y vivir con dignidad.

Actualmente en Ecuador no existen las terapias especializadas que ella necesita. Por eso, buscamos llevarla fuera del país, donde podrá acceder a tratamientos intensivos que le permitirán avanzar y alcanzar una mayor independencia. Cada día que pasa sin recibir estas terapias es un día perdido para ella.

Luciana merece un futuro lleno de risas, juegos y sueños por cumplir. Con tu ayuda, ese futuro es posible.

Hello, we are Sebastián and Karina, the proud parents of Luciana.

Our little girl is only one year and three months old, but she has already shown a strength that moves and inspires us. Luciana was born prematurely at 30 weeks of gestation and spent her first 55 days in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. In her first four months of life, she underwent three surgeries. Every day was a fight for her life, and she never gave up.

At six months old, we received a diagnosis that changed our lives: cerebral palsy (CP) and microcephaly. This condition affects her motor skills, stability, and other essential body functions. Despite everything, Luciana is a joyful child, with a smile that lights up our lives. Her bravery and energy give us the strength to keep fighting every day and to keep our faith in God alive.

We are young parents, full of love, faith, and hope. We will do everything in our power to give Luciana the opportunity to grow and live with dignity.

Currently, in Ecuador, the specialized therapies she needs are not available. That’s why we are seeking to take her abroad, where she can access intensive treatments that will help her progress and gain greater independence. Every day that passes without these therapies is a day lost for her.

Luciana deserves a future full of laughter, play, and dreams to fulfill. With your help, that future is possible.
