Hi, my name is Eva Wokabi, a cousin to the late Anthony Muchiri Maina and I am fundraising on behalf of his children- NellyLynn Nyambura Muchiri,, JessicaNyambura Muchiri, Anthony Maina Muchiri Junior and the beneficiary. Anthony Muchiri Maina passed away suddenly on Saturday night, May 13, 2023. He had arrived home and was right outside his door attempting to unlock it when he suddenly collapsed on the floor. A neighbor that had just seen him arrive home heard what sounded like a thud and also the sound of keys falling to the ground. The neighbor rushed quickly towards the direction of the noise only to find Muchiri collapsed on the floor. 911 Paramedics were alerted immediately, rushed to the scene and attempted to resuscitate him for about 30 minutes, but unfortunately, all their tireless efforts were unsuccessful, and Muchiri was pronounced dead shortly after.
Anthony was a kind, friendly and generous soul. He was also very humorous, and social and loved his family and friends unconditionally. Muchiri was also a son, brother to many, as well as an uncle and cousin to many. But above all, my cousin was a doting father who loved and adored his 3 children that he now leaves behind and always provided for them wholeheartedly. He was also a grandfather to Veronique Wanjiru and Laurel Wandia. Muchiri would have wished for his children to continue with their lives and be successful in all their endeavors, and last but not least to be well cared for even in his absence.
Anthony was finally laid to rest on June 3rd, 2023 by his family and friends, but leaves behind his 3 children and 2 grandchildren that have ongoing financial needs. We, as a family, humbly appeal to well-wishers to continue to give generously, any amount they can, to help ensure his children and grandchildren are well provided for in his absence. Any contribution will be greatly appreciated and all the funds raised will be directly distributed to the beneficiary, on behalf of Anthony's children. However, we also want to express our sincere gratitude to each one of you for your generosity thus far as well as the emotional and spiritual support you have extended to us. Our hearts are sincerely grateful.
