My dad was in a horrible semi accident on 3/24/25 while training a driver in Spanish Fork Canyon. A car came at them head on making the semi roll a couple times. The driver is ok. While my dad had to be life flighted to the hospital and has been in ICU since the accident. He has had two surgeries in a day. One placing a shunt in his leg for a damage artery and another on his stomach to make sure his stomach muscles were healing which they are, but they are still shredded to bits. He wasn't sleeping due to how much pain he was in. He had to have 3 blood transfusions due to blood loss but it stayed in his abdomen so that had to be drained today.  He was suppose to get out of the ICU today but with this set back the DRs aren't even discussing when he will get out. My dad is inmobile right now. When they try to do physical therapy with him, it just causes him so much agony. His company will cover the medical bills but when he gets out and gets to go home to his family they will only cover a little more than half his salary. My stepmom Amanda has been there every day with him since the accident and needs to be there with him at home to take care of him. We all appreciate the prayers and good vibes towards my father! This will be a long and hard recovery for him but he is the strongest and most stubborn man I know and he will recover! We all love you dad! <3
