Bandit passed away august 3rd.
We rescued Bandit and his pair-bonded sister Macey when I was twelve and they were two years old, they were my and my sister's first dogs. Bandit, now nine but with the spirit of a teenager, ate a towel which lacerated his internal organs and had to be surgically removed last week. Things got worse when he developed severe pancreatitis from the surgery and had to be given a feeding tube, which then made him throw up and likely gave him pneumonia, he then developed an infection and we tried one last surgery to save him but unfortunately the infection had spread to his internal organs and there was nothing we could do.
He immediately befriended anyone he met, he was a spastic idiot with a sister who was always there to get him out of trouble, Bandit knew when you were sad and would lay his head on you until you were better, you could throw a brick at his head and he'd just give you a big stupid smile. Macey is very depressed with him in the hospital so long, there’s no way to tell her he’s gone.
Bandit has brought so much joy to our lives, and there was still so much life in him, so we did everything we could to give him the long life he deserved, and it was a major financial burden on my mom. Any donation is greatly appreciated!
All donations are directly for hospital bills
