Dancing the Dream

Hi everyone! My name is Alex Novikov, and I am fundraising for or our young friend and our son Daniel’s dance partner, Elizaveta (Lisa).

Lisa came to the US last year and, together, she and Daniel have been pursuing their passion for dance with incredible dedication and talent. But Lisa’s ability to stay in the US is complicated by costs – schooling and competition travel – and the current political difficulties, such as visa requirements that she returns to her country periodically.

Lisa, who is a World Latin Champion, together, with Daniel, who also holds numerous world and national titles in ballroom dance, will showcase their exceptional talent.

We are holding a fundraising event for them at our studio Edelweiss Premier Ballroom on March 23rd, Saturday from 5:30 pm till 8:30 pm. They will be joined by Daniel’s brother and sister, Michael and Angelina, who are champions in their own right. The ticket price to this event is $80. Your ticket to the event will also include dinner and drinks, plus time to dance. We will also hold a fun 30 min group class and teach you swing and salsa.

Your presence and support at this event would mean the world to us and to our talented dancers. It is also a chance to show that, no matter the trouble in the world, we hold out our hands to fellow dancers, particularly young people, no matter their nationality. As many people have said in the past, young people are our future. This event is a way of showing our belief in the future of our youth, as well as the world.
