UPDATE 10/29/25

Noah went to the dr today and was cleared of the neck/back brace!!! He is continuing to heal and recover! Mom was able to make him a halloween costume for his wheel chair! He is obsessed with Titanic so he will be the captain of his own! So cool! I will post pictures if the site cooperates!

UPDATE 10/21/25

Noah came home last night!!! He is still in a back/neck brace & legs casted and in braces! He has a very LONG road of recovery ahead of him!!!! He has to be under 24 hr care and as of now mom is the one that will be and has been doing that so going back to work is undetermined time for her. Please continue to share and donate if you can !

Update Friday Oct 17th,

Noah does in fact have a fractured T1 & T2 and had to be fitted with a upper body brace that he will have to wear for at least 2 weeks until the dr can get a better view.

I am truly hoping our community can come together like I have seen it do multiple times in the past couple years for several families for this family, I am starting this for one of my bus families whom I also grew up babysitting the kiddos mom so needless to say they hold a special place in Ms Sams heart! On Wednesday evening Oct. 15th this little boy and his father were involved in a head on collision on Harryland Rd. Noah just started Kindergarten this year at Mcgaughey Elementary in MT.ZION and now he is at St. John's Hospital in Springfield IL with two broken femurs, a fractured skull, and possible damage to his T1 & T2 in his spine. He underwent surgery today to place rods in both legs that he will have to have surgically removed in 6 months and is in a brace to keep his legs straight for 4 to 6 weeks. He will need around the clock care once he is allowed to go home and lots of physical therapy, he has 5 siblings at home the oldest is only 16 and a momma who has went through alot in her life and over came so much! This is going to be alot on their whole family to deal with this mentally, physically, emotionally, and financially. Anything that can be donated will help his momma and their family tremendously she is going to have to take off alot of work and will be driving to Springfield and home to mount zion alot and now she will be doing this with one income (when she can work) dad will be out of work for an un known amount of time.
