Help Apollo afford gender-affirming top surgery

hi, my name is apollo. i’m 21 years old and currently a university student. i do have a part-time job but, as you can imagine, living in london as a student proves to be very expensive, especially trying to afford gender-affirming surgery. 

i have been binding my chest with a binder for a few years. i've never liked my chest and even when i was younger, i'd only wear sports bras because they offer more compression than the standard ones. i started to bind with chest tape around a year ago and i've never felt more comfortable. unfortunately, i was born with things attached to my chest and i don’t like carrying them around on me everyday. i try not to hate my body and i absolutely feel the most comfortable when my chest is taped. however, top surgery will be actually life changing and life saving. 

funding for top surgery is very expensive. prices range from around £6,000-£12,000, but a precise figure is based on each individual. i find it really hard to save money as i rent with my partner in London, am currently a student and do not receive any sort of financial support from family or anything. i am basically relying on the kindness of other people donating however much they can and hopefully enough people do to bring me closer to my goal! 

it is extremely frustrating to have to go through years of self-discovery and wasting my teens, to finally get to a point of comfortability in who i am and then have money be the only barrier. i know the day will come when i finally do have the surgery but it is agony waiting and trying desperately to raise money. i'm extremely grateful to anyone who donates anything <3
