Help Veera : Funeral and Medical Expenses

With great grief and a heavy heart, we regret to inform the news of Veera Bhadra's untimely death. A long, happy camping weekend vacation ended up being the ever long final resting site. Veera Bhadra was involved in a tragic drowning accident at Mount Rainier-Alder Lake on July 3rd, which claimed his life on July 5th.

It had to be one of God's strange plans that a person who had always been so involved in nature would eventually be consumed by it.

Veera and a few of his close friends and family went out for an afternoon picnic at the Alder Lake beach head on July 3rd, 2021. He was well within the bounds of the security floaters in the lake while swimming and being extremely cautious, yet he drowned by accident.

Veera was submerged in the water for 5 minutes and after receiving prompt CPR with the help of others around him, he had to be airlifted to the nearest hospital where he was on ventilator support for 36 hours before he breathed one last time in the early hours of July 5, 2021.

Except for his mother, Veera's accident was communicated to all his friends and family in the United States and India. His mother was admitted to the hospital for a heart treatment at the same time as Veera, and she was diagnosed with many blockages in her heart. She is currently scheduled for an open-heart surgery in India within three weeks of this writing.

Veera was both his parents' and in-law’s ONLY breadwinner. Veera was a responsible son, a loving husband, a caring friend, and most importantly, a wonderful human being. The pain of his death at such a young age of 34, has left us with an unfillable vacuum.

We are now requesting for your prayers and thoughts to support his family through these trying times, as well as donations to help his wife Jyothy and family with hospital and cremation expenses.
