Together We Can Beat This

We would like to provide you with an update on Maru and her current status. 

Our Maru was recently released from the hospital after being placed on a ventilator for pneumonia. She is now at home in hospice care with her sons, mom and family. 

Maru was receiving chemotherapy and radiation the past few months trying battle this horrible disease. Many days were extremely hard on her and she was in so much pain that she was not able to sleep or eat. 

 She said she did not know pain could be so bad. Although she feels the love of God and from everyone that supports her the treatment has not ended in the results we all have been praying for. 

We, as does Maru and her family,  thank you for your past generosity but we are asking once again to please donate to Maru’s GOFUNDME account for obvious reasons. Please consider donating . Any amount will go a long way and if you are comfortable, please share this account with your friends and relatives that would be able to donate to Maru.

We are Maru’s Support Squad and this GoFundMe is to help support Maru through her fight with cancer.

We are heart broken but have faith. Through the grace of God and the support of family, friends, colleagues, kind hearts and cancer survivors we can support Maria Eugenia Donoso (known to us as Maru) in her battle against cancer.

Maru was diagnosed with ovarian cancer three weeks ago and during her surgery the doctor discovered that the cancer had already spread to her organs. Maru was told that her cancer was terminal , no cure.

Maru’s life has been turned upside down over the past month since her diagnosis. Maru , as do we, believes in miracles, the power of prayer and the strength of God.

Maru just turned 50 this past April. She is a single mother raising two young men often working two jobs to support her family.

She has a loving mother(Rosie) who is a cancer survivor and still battling this horrible disease herself.

For those of you who know Maru you are lucky.

She is very loving, caring, positive and really fun.

She is a friend to all.
