Hello everyone,
This is not an easy thing for us to write. Many people have asked if we needed help, and we kept saying no- partly out of pride, mostly out of embarassment and a little because we truly believed we could figure it out on our own. But the truth is that our eviction hit us harder than we ever could have expected. It has taken a toll on us mentally, emotionally, and unfortunately financially. We’ve reached a point where we can’t pretend we’re okay anymore.
We are at risk of losing everything we’ve worked so hard to build- our home... everything. And yet, despite it all, thankfully we finally see a bit of light ahead. We have the opportunity to reinvent ourselves in a new space early in the coming months. We can’t share all the details just yet, but we ask that you trust in us the way we’ve always tried to show up for our community.
That’s why we’re humbly asking for your help to get from A to B, to bridge the gap between where we are now and the chance to rebuild what we’ve lost. Any support will help us regain stability so we can get back to doing what we love and what we do best.
We know it’s a difficult time of year to ask, and we wish we could have held off longer. Even a share means the world to us.
Thank you for reading, for caring, and for believing in us. We promise that once we’re back on our feet, we will pour every ounce of that same support right back into our community.
With love and gratitude,
Colleen and Dave
