It’s with a sad heart today that my sister Leigh Amber Honshell passed away. Those that know our story know Leigh is our Camdons birth mother. Through her struggle with addiction she made that tough decision 4 years ago asking us to take Camdon. Although she told Lori Beck Honshell and I she would work to get clean we knew that day would be her last seeing him and she knew that day we would forever be his mommy and daddy. Today her struggle is over and she has been called home to Gods glory and will suffer no more. I ask for your prayers. Prayers for her family she has left behind. Prayers for peace and comfort. I ask you pray most for my Camdon. Pray he always knows his birth mother did love him so much that she knew exactly who he needed to be with and on that day she asked us to take him she showed the greatest love a mother could give. As I sit here with tears in my eyes I will take great peace knowing that through Leigh’s struggles I was given one of my most treasured gifts in my son Camdon. For that sister o am eternally grateful. I will promise Camdon knows that you did love him unconditionally. Until we meet again. Give Daddy a big hug and kiss. Rest easy now sister. Love you.
