Help me support Mom&Dad as they fight Alzheimer’s and Cancer
Donation protected
If you’ve ever met my parents Victoria and William, you know they’re the kind of people who show up when you need help—quietly, humbly, and without expecting anything in return. Now, I’m asking for help on their behalf, because they need it more than ever.
My mom is in the late stages of Alzheimer’s, and every day, her needs grow more intensive. She requires constant supervision and round-the-clock care—something that’s become almost impossible for my dad and me to manage alone. We’ve done our best, just the two of us. But now, in a heartbreaking turn, my dad has been diagnosed with MDS, a rare and serious blood cancer.
In short: we are overwhelmed. I'm trying to balance caregiving with going back to school, and my dad is trying to manage his own health while also taking care of my mom. We’re doing everything we can, but we simply can’t do this alone anymore.
This fundraiser is our lifeline. We're trying to raise enough to hire a part-time caregiver—someone who can step in just a few hours every couple of days to give us some relief. Even that little bit of support would make a world of difference in helping us stay afloat, physically and emotionally. Your support would allow my dad to focus on his own fight against cancer and ensure my mom receives the dignity and attention she deserves in this stage of her life.
If you’re not in a place to give financially, we completely understand. A prayer, a share, or even just a few kind words would mean so much to us right now.
Any remaining funds will be donated to The Cure Alzheimer’s Fund, an organization that uses 100% of donations directly for research. All overhead costs are covered by their board, making them a true nonprofit. That commitment really speaks volumes to me, and it's why I chose them. https://curealz.org/
Thank you for reading, and thank you for caring.
