On the morning of March 19th at 3:45 A.M, our daughter Chelsea was riding her bike to work as usual when a vehicle struck her and left her there for dead.  She doesnt remember the incident at all, only that she came to on sidewalk and saw her Dad standing there and asked, "Dad what are you doing here?" To which he responded, "You called me. What happened?" She was confused and had no recollection of anything other than leaving for work and awaking on sidewalk. There were no external signs that she was injured, she said she just felt really sore. Moments later she said she felt like she was bleeding internally.  911 was called and promptly arrived to assess the situation. They drove her to West Valley Hospital Trauma Unit, where they discovered horible bruising and road rash on her back.  Soon after they discovered she had bilaterral kidney damage and a blood clot in her leg that they were able to block before it went to her brain or heart and killed her.  They attempted going in and saving kidneys.  Unfortunately, her right kidney bled out and died completely and her left clotted and decreased its function to only 15%.  She spent 12 days  in hospital receiving dialysis every other day.  She is home now where she will continue dialysis 3 days a week until she can receive a transplant.  We are searching for the driver, but so far are not having any luck. Some local businesses have realeased street videos in hopes of finding this individual and bringing them to justice.  Chelsea was an enrgetic young woman prior to this unfortunate accident.  She was a loyal and dependable employee, going to school for her Bachelor's in  Nursing, and enjoying her life.  Now she is fighting for it.  Any and all donations are greatly appreciated.  If you would like to see story you can log on to AZFAMILY.COM story is titled FATHER SEARCHES FOR DRIVER WHO HIT DAUGHTER.  Prayers are also welcome.
