gentrification = relocation

The past few years have been rough. I battled through unemployment and homelessness. I understand that events had to happen the way they did so I could forge appreciation & purpose for life. I lived in Jamaica Plain for twenty years. With all the building of condos around me and my landlord wanting to cash in, I was forced out to Dorchester. It took some work but I finally ended up in a decent part of Dorchester that I love. My current landlord has sold the entire block and plans to knock down all the buildings to erect a 34 million dollar luxury apartment complex. There has been a ridiculous amount of pressure put on me by my landlord to get out of the apartment I just moved into. I have a job which is the one thing I have going for me. Unfortunately although I work, I struggle to even have enough money for food much of the time. Moving is expensive and just paying rent without the moving expenses has been challenging. Homelessness threatens to have me seperated from my cats which mean everything to me. I just need some security so that I can continue. New places to live ask for first and last month's rent. I'd also have to hire movers since I can't move heavy things myself.
