Team Mason

Our dear Mason departed this life on Friday, October 9, 2015 at age 2 years old. Mason has been such a joy to have in our lives and in the lives of so many people! Being born 13 weeks early, he had lots of health issues and was not expected to live. He wasn't expected to walk, talk, see or hear. Through it all he defeated the odds. He had a bleed on the brain, lung disease, a deadly stomach infection that required surgery and a feeding tube. He was diagnosed with cerebral palsy and he was blind. But to know Mason was to love him! The most loveable baby ever succumbed to his lung problems after 7 weeks on a ventilator. Our family will forever be missing a huge chunk of our life. At just 2 years old he was someone you should know. Larger than life, always smiling and encouraging everyone, young and old, to be better, to try harder. At 2 years old he'd survived more surgeries and hospitals stays than most adults and he did it all with the bravery and courage of 10 men.
Now please help us to put him away like the CHAMP he's been.
