Happy holidays !

My name is Ebonie and I have created this gofundme account in hopes to help reach my goal to by a new car.

The goal is to reach $4,000 or close to it.

The original plan was to surprise my mom for christmas this year since i haven't been home for the holidays since 2017.

The plan was to leave December 23 from Tampa Florida and be in Maine late evening December 24th. With an early morning surprise on Christmas morning.

What better gift to see your only daughter for Christmas?!

But the universe had other plans for me.

The morning of Dec 23, right after i got my car all packed and ready to head out, about a mile from my home I began merging onto the highway. As I was about to jump into the lane my car was hit by a truck which sent me spinning across the 3 lanes of traffic and colliding into 2 other vehicles. 4 cars in total were involved in the collision and mine is completely totalled.

The officer ruled it was my fault because I was trying to merge onto the highway and I only had liability on my vehicle. Which means no coverage will be paid out.

What's worse is I only have enough money to cover gas to and from Maine- about 800$ (I was going on faith. Lol )

So with that said, I am reaching out to friends and family asking help for raising the funds for a new vehicle. My goal is 4000$ or close to it.

I don't have good credit nor can I afford car payments so I am hoping to find a decent car to buy outright.

I am greatful to be alive

And thankful I am protected.

However this small set back is definitely weighing on my heart. And I feel as though I failed trying to surprise my mom for Christmas.
