Hi everyone!
We will be going to Antigua, Guatemala this summer for a 4 week medical volunteer program. We both are currently sophomores in college pursuing pre-health degrees and are going on this trip to get further experience. We are volunteering through VolunteerHQ, a great program that offers countless opportunities in volunteering abroad. We will be placed in either clinics or hospitals and will provide healthcare and medical treatment to local underpriviledged communities and orphanages.
As many of you know, these trips are not free. We are fundraising to cover the costs of the program itself and our flights. We also are fundraising in order to bring items such as basic medicine, school supplies, clothes, and other necessities that many people in Guatemala go without. Any donations, no matter how small, will be greatly appreciated!
