Help Bring Shane Home
As many of you know, Shane has been battling severe mental health challenges for the past five years, with the last three being especially difficult. His family has done everything they can, seeking help from multiple treatment programs in Utah, but nothing seemed to give him the relief he desperately needed.
With faith and hope, Shane was admitted to Rogers in Wisconsin this past November, a program that specializes in OCD, in hopes that he could finally learn how to manage his condition and begin to heal.
Tragically, things did not go as planned.
After only a couple of weeks, Shane’s physical health began to decline, forcing him to leave treatment and be hospitalized. Despite efforts to stabilize him, his condition did not improve. On March 20th, when Dana arrived to bring him home, she was only able to see him for a few minutes before he went into cardiac arrest.
Doctors later discovered multiple blood clots, two very large clots in his lungs and several more in his legs. He is now on extremely strong blood thinners and is unable to get out of bed.
At this point, our only wish is to bring Shane home so he can be surrounded by his family, his loved ones, and his grandkids during this incredibly critical time.
Due to his fragile condition mentally and physically, Shane cannot travel on a commercial flight. He requires specialized medical air transport, which comes with a significant cost.
We are asking for help to bring Shane back to Utah.
Shane and his family have touched so many lives over the years, and we know how deeply he is loved. Any donation, no matter how small, means more than we can express and will be used for his transportation and any other medical costs that Shane requires during these difficult times. If you’re unable to give, please consider sharing this page and keeping Shane in your prayers.
Thank you for your love, support, and kindness during this difficult time.
