Hi, we are Derek and Pat Drinkwater, historic car racing enthusiasts from the UK.

We are raising funds to take our girl - a recreation of the 1950 Cadillac Le Monstre - to more races across the UK and the USA.

We built this crazy car back in 2018 to race at Le Mans Classic. Since then we have travelled over 12,000 road miles in her, towing our little teardrop trailer and racing at iconic tracks such as Daytona, Laguna Seca, Watkins Glen, Road America, Limerock and Sebring. We’ve had our ups and downs, including rebuilding the engine in the paddock at Road America, but the smile our girl brings to people's faces and the friends she makes along the way are priceless.

We started this page after a number of people at our last race asked how they could donate to support the journey - they just love seeing the car out on track and finding out more about the history of the original.

Any donations will be used for race entries, gas, tyres, oil, pot noodles and did I say gas . We really appreciate any and all help with the project, and please follow us on Facebook to see what we get up to.
