I am recovering from a stroke, which has left me unable to care for myself. As a result, my sister has given up her job to be home. I am uninsured and not receiving any disability. I have medical bills, transportation, and daily expenses to cover, such as food, utilities, medical supplies, and medications. I have dialysis treatments 3 times a week 30 miles away, which is also costly. It is humbling for me to ask for help in my time of need, and I appreciate any assistance you can provide.
