Carmen’s Cancer Fund!

Hi, my name is Janet Gelcich, and I am raising money for Carmen Leon. If you know me, or anyone in my family, you know how much Carmen means to us. She loved and took such great care of my children as infants at the Y, and now she needs our help - though she would never ask! Carmen has been battling HER2+ breast cancer since this past fall, and just finished radiation. She will continue to get an IV treatment every 3 weeks for the next year. As you can imagine, she battles with fatigue and pain on a daily basis, and has been unable to work. These funds will help her pay mounting medical and insurance bills. We are attempting to keep this a surprise, and are creating this fund with the support of Carmen’s daughter Tatiana. Carmen has given my family and so many others the priceless gift of caring for our babies, while never having to worry that they were safe, loved, and supported.
