Hi everyone, I’m writing this today as a last ditch, Hail Mary, end of my rope fund raiser in an effort to get our rent caught up and keep us from getting evicted. As many of you know, my health has not been great these past few years and I am at the point where I am no longer able to work. In addition, Jorrell (my boyfriend) lost his job last November and has been struggling to find a new one. Lance (my son) is willing to work but at 15 and with no transportation hasn’t found anything. We're doing all we can to try and make ends meet, from selling crafts on Etsy, working odd jobs, selling puppies, and even streaming on Twitch, anything helps! Jorrell finally found a job and my Etsy sales are starting to take off so I figured we were on the upswing, but today we were served with a three day eviction notice. Our landlord has been very kind and understanding throughout this whole ordeal, but we are now three months behind and she can’t work with us any further. I managed to get a little extra time to try and come up with the money, but it will barely get us to Jorrell’s first paycheck. And that is why I am here. We need help. Just a little more time until we start getting regular paychecks again and my disability goes through. We are currently on the waiting list for Section 8 and all the emergency eviction programs in town, but they won’t be in time. Anything at all helps. Thank you
