Brenan's Kidney Transplant
Donation protected

It's hard to tell what is going on in someone’s body by just looking at them. In my case my kidneys have failed. I am Brenan Williams, 22 year old college student. July 30, 2014, my life took a drastic change!
Something that I thought would be a routine checkup, would come to my surprise to be so much more. After an urinalysis test and some simple blood test, it was detected that I was diagnosed with Acute Renal Failure 'Kidney Failure' and was admitted into the hospital immediately after the diagnostic results. I spent three days in critical care unit 'CCU' at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.
During this stay I was put on dialysis, I have been dialyzing 3 days a week for 4+ hours each day since August 1, 2014. Being on dialysis has significantly changed every aspect of my life. It limits everything; from the food that I ingest, to the amount of energy I have for simple everyday life tasks, not to mention the time it takes to filter the blood of all waste throughout the week.
This has been an extremely difficult time for my family and I, and I still have a lot of things left to do. I know that God has an ultimate purpose on what he's put before me. I am a firm believer that he will see me and my family through this battle. God gives his toughest battles to his strongest warriors.
I am currently looking for someone to donate a kidney. My blood type is O+, which is rare and the waiting time on the transplant list provided by the state is 4-6 years. If you are willing to donate a kidney, you would be giving me a second chance at life. The transplant procedure will cost a total amount of $10,000. This is extremely out of my comfort zone to ask strangers, family, and friends for financial help, as I have always been very independent and able to provide for myself and family. In this time of need, I not only need financial assistance but a prayer for healing and restoration will be just as appreciated.
Thank you for reading my story! GOD BLESS!
Ecclesiastes 9:11
I have observed something else under the sun. The fastest runner doesn't always win the race, and the strongest warrior doesn't always win the battle. The wise sometimes go hungry, and the skillful are not necessarily wealthy. And those who are educated don't always lead successful lives. It is all decided by chance, by being in the right place at the right time.
