Shawn Strong

I’m Tony.. (Shawn’s cousin) and I started this GoFundMe page for Shawn and his wife Sarah. For those of you who know Shawn— you know how selfless, positive and loving of a person he is. Earlier this year Shawn was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. We’d like to help Shawn and his family ease some of the medical expenses that come with his care and treatment over the past several months and going forward. Anything you are able to give is greatly appreciated. If you are unable to donate at this time please share this with others and continue to pray for Shawn and his family. Below you’ll find a statement written by Shawn back in August 2022:

“For all my friends who don't know but are wondering what's been going on I'm sure you have been asking what happened to me and if l'm really bad sick I have been diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer it is in my lungs and on my liver no cure for my cancer we are hoping and praying for a miracle and still might get one I know there are a lot of people out there who care about me and I promise you all that it means a lot to us we appreciate all the out pouring of payers and love from everyone it means so much to us the doctors say that I probably only have 5 years left unless we get that miracle and we are staying really positive I hope anyone how hasn't seen me out in town and has been wonderful what's going on see this and it clears up some things for you my wife Sarah and I really do appreciate everything everyone has done for us I know life is a struggle for everyone so it all means so much to us everyday and everything is a gift and I know not to take any gift for granted so thank you so much everyone and I will never forget to thank God for all of you and for every day that we get.”
