THIRD TIMES A CHARM!

First, I would like to say thank you for taking the time to read my husband (Seth Scott’s) story. He is truly the kindest, strongest and most caring person I have ever met. But, in order to understand his story, you have to understand what he has been through. In the paragraphs to come, I will introduce you to Seth.
When he was 12 years old, he was diagnosed with Brain Cancer. The tumor in his head is a Brain Stem Glioma. He had to endure 6 surgeries for the tumor as well as a shunt placement. He was told the tumor would probably never grow. When he was 15 years old, the tumor grew. Now, He needed 6 months of Chemotherapy and 2 months of Radiation. All together my husband was out of school for 3 years.
He did ok for the next 10 years of his life excluding the 2 major car accidents. Then, when he was 33 years old they found a mass in his left lung. The tumor was a Carcinoid Tumor. This is a form of Lung Cancer and they needed to remove most of his left lung. Once again, Seth went into the surgery with his head held high ready to face whatever life could throw at him. He once again came out a winner!
His latest battle started in November 2015. He had a routine blood test and they found he had very high white blood cell counts. After a few more blood tests, and a Bone Marrow Biopsy they found that Seth has Leukemia. This is as far as I can take you in his battle. We are not sure what the future has to hold. The medication that Seth needs is $16,000 a month. Only some of it is covered by insurance. He will need to be on this medication for the rest of his life.
The reason I am writing this is because Seth has too much pride to ask for help. We don't know how much he will be able to work. So, Anything helps. We have a very strong family and enough love to go around for many life times. Thank you for taking the time to read my husbands story.
