Hello everyone! My name is Erika and I am making this fundraiser in order to help me financially go to college. As we all know college can be very expensive and financially draining at times. Tuition is roughly 15,000 dollars, while campus housing is another 15 thousand. I am hoping and manifesting to make enough money here that will help me substantially for housing, tuition, and food. I am going to attend UC Berkeley in the Fall and Spring of 2022/2023 as a transfer student. I will be studying psychology there, in hopes of chasing my ultimate career goal of becoming a Psychiatrist. Once I get my license, I want to give back and support low-income families in need of mental health services that aren't provided or cannot afford to seek. Maintaining my 4.0 GPA is important for me, which means I won't be able to work as much as I would like because I will be dedicating most of my time to my studies. I plan to do work-study and might pick up a second job if needed. My mom works tremendously to provide a roof over her two children and mother, meaning it would be difficult to financially support many of my college expenses. In desperate hopes of getting some funds together, I made this GoFundMe.
