This beautiful young woman in the picture is my little sister.  Saturday, March 28th, 2015, my little sister Jackie left work to meet up with her boyfriend for a bowling date night.  20 minutes after leaving work, she lost control of her car, spun out on the highway due to inclement weather and hit the back of a tow truck.  The truck was parked in the Emergency Lane and no one else was in it because the tow truck was there to respond to another accident, no one realized she was in the car.  After a half hour in the car alone, a plow truck driver alerted the tow truck drivers for help.  After being cut out of her car and rushed to the hospital, she was rushed into emergency surgery to stop the internal bleeding.  After a two-hour successful surgery, they were able to stop the bleeding.  Unfortunately, she has tons of other ailments including, broken clavicle, broken humurus (which was recently operated on), broken ribs, staples in her stomach, removed spleen,  torn ligament in her neck, fractured pelvis on both sides, severely bruised kidney and left lung, and a blood transfusion.  She will need to use a walker for six weeks before she can walk on her own.  She is fighting through it all!  She is my hero and a true inspiration to everyone that has visited her.  She is making incredible progress, but it's a long road ahead.  She is fighting harder than anyone else I know! 

She is the most positive person I have ever met!  Nothing brings her down.  She always has a smile on her face and she sees the upside of any situation.  She is a health freak.  The ability to be outside, enjoying nature was her #1 passion.  She will be graduating this May with a degree in Nutrition.  

I am setting up this fund up to help her get back on her feet when she is 100% recovered.  I'm not asking for each person to donate tons of money.  Any amount will be appreciated.  I know that many people out there care.  I want her to know she has multiple people rooting for her!  Anything you can donate is amazing and it will be greatly appreciated.  Thank you for taking time to read this story.  Continue to root for my hero and keep her in your prayers!!
