Hi, my name is Maggie, and I’m reaching out during one of the hardest moments of my life. Our mom recently passed away after a long and difficult battle with addiction. It’s something she fought for years, and while her passing brings a complicated kind of grief, we’re also holding on to the love and good memories we still carry with us.
We don’t come from much, and funeral expenses are more than I can manage alone. My aunt has already stepped in and done more for our family than I could ever repay, and I’d like to take this burden off of her shoulders if I can.
I always told my mom that when life gets heavy, it’s okay to ask for help—so today, I’m taking my own advice and putting my pride aside.
If you’re able to donate anything at all toward my mom’s funeral arrangements, it would mean the world. And if you can’t donate, sharing this helps more than you know.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading this, for supporting us, and for helping me give my mom the peaceful goodbye she deserves.
