Help Ricky Lloyd's Family

Hi, I am Ricky Lloyd's aunt, Mara. Ricky's life became very difficult this July when his shunt stopped working and was found non-responsive. He has a history of hydrocephalus and requires a shunt to drain his verticals. After being at AV medical center for 23 days, he got an infection in his brain and needed to be admitted to UCLA. After coming to UCLA he ended up needing to have 4 more brain surgeries through the span of 6 weeks. After the struggle with these surgeries and rehab, he had a day of seizure like incidences which cause him to have a stroke. This stroke killed many parts of his brain, including the parts that would allow him to awaken and function normally. After him being non-responsive and on a ventilator for more than a week, his family has had to make the difficult decision to let him go. He is leaving behind his wife and two beautiful young daughters, his mother, father and siblings. Ricky was a set medic and due to the strikes was out of work for more than a year. This time period caused them to use most of their savings. Due to his medical conditions for his whole life he was not eligible for life insurance. We are trying to help his wife and daughters transition to life without Ricky, as well as get his hospital bills paid. Any help you can give is wonderful and appreciated, even if it's $5.
