Help to Pay off my mums mortgage

Hi, my name is Michelle but everyone calls me shell or shelly. I'm setting up this go fund me for my mum, Maria. My dad, her husband died in June last year (2024) he had suffered with cancer for a long time, thne he had a heart attack and the cancer spread. He left my mum with 2 private pensions, which didnt have much in them but one paid out in full which paid off half of her mortgage. But unfortunately there's not enough in the other pension to pay off the rest, so she's left with £25,000 mortgage, which she's paying off monthly. She has applied for Univetsal Credit but they've said she can work even though she can't and her GP has said she can't work. Universal credit pay her just under £300 a month but they take off the amount she gets from the pension that pays her monthly so she get just over £100 a month from universal credit. No other benefits. She has copped so far with the little savings she did have but with having to pay bills Mortgage and buy food, she is down to her last bit of money

I just wish I could help her more. Im fund raising so she can pay off her mortgage and have a little left over to help her pay for food and bills and not have to be so stressed. It's hard enough loosing your husband but then being left with a mortgage and bills doesn't help with the grieving process.

Any help is greatly appreciated, but I also understand that there are loads of people in the same position or even worse
