Hi, my name is Myasia. I have never been one to ask for any type of help but with the unexpected circumstances I don’t know what else to do. On September 16th my younger sister went home to find our mother had passed away. I am one out of 4 of her children we are 23, 21, 17, and 15. Me and my sister now how to figure out how to cover the expense of having my mother transported from Albany to Poughkeepsie, as well as a funeral. My 3 siblings and I are beyond heartbroken. I have 2 younger siblings that my mother was the sole caretaker of. They were living in Albany with our mother and can no longer stay there. We are not sure if they will live with myself or my sister. My sister is 8 months pregnant and expecting her first child Nov 22. The lose of my mother has been so devastating we want to try to make the transition to live with one of us just that much easier. Currently neither one of us have room or the finances needed to properly care for our younger siblings. But some how some way we must figure it out. Any little bit will help and for those who can not financially help I ask that you keep me and my siblings in your thoughts and prayers. This is going to be a long road for all of us and we can use the emotional support as well. I thank all of you.
