Today, my best friend of twenty-five years Jennifer Wilkins and the love of her life had to endure what no parent ever should. They were over the moon about their fast approaching due date when Jennifer officially hit full term and immediately went in to labor yesterday, April 2nd.
Unfortunately, they found out this morning April 3rd at roughly 5 AM that their son Eric Andrew Martens Jr. no longer had a heart beat. Jennifer bravely and knowingly proceeded with a natural child birth to their perfectly made stillborn son around 12:30 pm.
I'm only beginning to research the cost they will incur and plead with you to help me help them through this. I am starting the goal at $4,000 although I hope to surpass that. The costs to properly bury or preserve their first and only son will be a difficult blow to this family. This is not to mention the obvious counseling, etc. that eventually will be needed.
No one in this world deserves to feel this kind of pain and I can personally vouch for my beautiful friend. Please find it in your heart to help if you are able.
