My name is Elise and this fall, my daughter Gabrielle has been accepted to Eckerd College, where she will begin her journey toward becoming a veterinarian. As an international student from Jamaica, Gabby must secure the required tuition funding in order to receive U.S. immigration approval to attend college in the U.S.
From a young age, she has loved animals with a tenderness and determination that has only grown stronger over the years. Whether caring for pets, volunteering, or excelling in her science courses, her goal has always been clear: she wants to dedicate her life to healing and protecting animals.
Eckerd College has offered Gabby a $25,000 scholarship to attend their science program that will prepare her for veterinary school based on her exemplary honors programs and high school GPA. However, the remaining cost of tuition, housing, visa application, and required academic expenses totals approximately $50,000 for her first year.
I am asking for assistance, donations, or by helping me share this campaign, to help Gabby achieve this first step toward her future career in veterinary medicine.
Every contribution, no matter the size, brings her closer to her dream. Thank you for believing and helping.
With gratitude,
Elise
