Dear Wonderful friends and family,

These have been very stressful intense days of waiting for all of you who love Jack.

Today he finally had the consultation at the cancer hospital with the Doctor.

We are praising the Lord for a wonderful report.

The type of Leukemia he has is called Chronic Myeloid leukemia. They actually say this is one of the best ones to have.... 90% go on to live normal lives. His chemo is daily by tablet.

Happy Birthday to Jack!

I was able to sing happy birthday to Jack this morning.

Please continue to pray for Jack. On the 14th they have a very important appointment with the doctor at the cancer hospital.

This will be very informative, telling them what kind of leukemia Jack has and the chemo treatment designed just for him. Hopefully, they will have a room available for him. He has a great smile, but he is very weak.

We appreciate all the gifts towards GOFUNDME. They were able to pay off the hospital for those first two weeks. If you know of anyone who knows Jack and would love to help they would greatly appreciate it. Pray On!!!! Mary

This is an update from Tammy.

UPDATE 02/09/25:

Jack is now out of hospital #1 after almost two weeks. It seems he is past the pneumonia. He's feeling better, breathing better, no temp. Etc., I'm so thankful!

The Dr. has him on two strong meds. Pro: His enlarged spleen is shrinking quite a bit. Con: The medicine makes him very tired.

Currently we are staying in the city close to the oncology hospital awaiting Jack's upcoming appointments. It was easier on him to stay put and let him rest rather then move him all over. At this point we are just waiting.
